This Cookie
Policy explains how Rapid Home Loans ("Company,"
"we," "us," and "our")
uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at
https://rapidhomeloans.com
(the "Website"). It explains what these technologies are,
which ones we actually use, and how you can control them.
Service area. Rapid Home Loans is a Michigan-licensed mortgage
brokerage (NMLS# 2336339) that serves clients in the United States
only. We do not market or originate loans to residents of the
European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
What
are cookies?
Cookies are
small data files that a website places on your computer or mobile
device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work,
to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting
information.
Cookies set by
the website you are visiting (in this case, Rapid Home Loans) are
called "first-party cookies." Cookies set by other parties
whose code runs on the page are called "third-party cookies."
Why
do we use cookies?
We use a small
number of cookies for two purposes only:
Strictly necessary - to deliver the site securely, prevent abuse, and protect the contact form from bots.
Analytics - to understand, in aggregate, how visitors find and use the site so we can improve it.
We do not
use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, social media tracking
pixels, cross-site behavioral profiling, or session-replay tools on
this Website.
Cookies
we set
The specific
cookies served on the Website may vary slightly depending on which
pages you visit and which features you use. The current list is:
| Name | Provider | Type | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| __cf_bm | Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Bot management - distinguishes humans from automated traffic at the edge to protect the site from abuse. | ~30 minutes |
| cf_clearance | Cloudflare | Strictly necessary | Records that you have passed a security challenge so you are not re-challenged on every page. | Up to 1 year |
| cf-turnstile-* (token / challenge cookie) | Cloudflare Turnstile | Strictly necessary | Verifies that the contact form is being submitted by a human and not a bot. Set only on pages that include the contact form. | Session |
| _ga | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Distinguishes unique visitors so we can measure overall traffic and trends. Does not contain your name, email, or other directly identifying information. | ~2 years |
| _ga_M1M5LBZF09 | Google Analytics 4 | Analytics | Persists session state for our specific GA4 property (measurement ID G-M1M5LBZF09). | ~2 years |
We have
configured Google Analytics with Google Signals, Google Ads linking,
and remarketing features disabled. Google Analytics still
processes your IP address to derive coarse geographic location
(typically city or region) for reporting; this is not used to
identify you personally.
How
can I control cookies?
You can
control or refuse cookies in several ways:
Browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or delete cookies that are already stored. See your browser's help pages for instructions: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera.
Opt out of Google Analytics specifically. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, which prevents GA4 from collecting any information about your visits across all sites.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends a GPC signal, our analytics provider treats it as an opt-out where applicable.
Industry opt-out tools. The Digital Advertising Alliance offers a general opt-out at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. (Note: we do not run advertising on this site, but this tool is useful across the wider web.)
If you block
strictly-necessary cookies, parts of the site - particularly the
contact form, which is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile - may not
work correctly.
Other
tracking technologies
Cookies are
not the only way a site can recognize visitors. Other technologies
include web beacons (sometimes called "tracking pixels" or
"clear gifs") and local storage. Google Analytics may use
local storage and pixel-style requests in addition to cookies. We do
not use other third-party pixels or beacons (such as Meta/Facebook
Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, or similar) on this Website.
Do
you serve targeted advertising?
No. We do not
run targeted, behavioral, or remarketing advertising on this Website,
and we do not share visitor data with advertising networks.
How
often will you update this Cookie Policy?
We may update
this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the
cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory
reasons. The date at the top of this Cookie Policy indicates when it
was last updated. Please revisit this page periodically to stay
informed.

can I get further information?
